The design criteria include: a minimum of 2 feet of freeboard over the flood of record, or 1 foot above the administrative 100 year flood - whichever is higher, a minimum top width of 6 feet, a maximum side slope of 3:1, that interior drainage be provided, and that the dike is seeded. back to Projects |
